So its been nearly a year since the relase of summon and now people are growing uneasy and want a new skill. So what would YOU like the new skill to be? Or would you perfer to see an old skill improved? I will be shure to point out just how the skill would change Runescape's fragile ecomony compleatly!

Anyway, I don't think a new skill is necessary at this moment, there are enough skills to train as it is. Though Mod MMG did say they were working on a new skill, they even confirmed that there will be a new f2p skill eventually. --------------------  |

Sailing would with out a dobt is favorite to be the next skill. But have Jagex thought this one through sailing means more planks and nails (im takeing for granted that you build your own ship) that means prices for logs and coal would rise dramaticaly but in my opion sailing means an expansion of every other skill in the game new exotic trees new fish possibaly being able to fish from your boat that would mean more manta rays and sea turtles new herbs and farmining spots new stalls new kingdoms new slayer tasks new teleports new agility courses. But Jagex will probaly just let us sail to ordinary places for the first 20 or so levels making this a verry compedite and indirectly proffitable skill
But then again Jagex always were a little to carefull so all of the above might not come to pass

Jagex dont keep promises they told us there wouldnt be a dragon platebody or that there would never be pets.Im not saying sailing will be a skill im just saying they dont realy keep promises

Dragon plate is something totally different from sailing. Dragon plate is just an high level armor type; basically the name and the looks. Something like that can just be added to the game. Sailing however will really require a purpose. Like giving you the ability to reach far away regions in RuneScape which are only accessible by sailing. You should also be able to spend time training the skill, it's really a complicated skill if they want to make such a thing in RuneScape. Also the sea isn't that interesting...

Well it's only interesting for Fishing, they shouldn't make a skill that is only meant to make fishing better. It should really provide something extra to other skills too.

Suppose its time I threw in my two cents
Enginiering Gnomes and Dwarves are famous for it and Goblins do there share. But why would i train that its pointless AHH but you see this skill is desigined to improve every aspect of life but not to dramaticaly. Construction would benifit the most.... Fancy a place to train agality in your house? Well call in the enginers smash a wall here a few ropes there and ta da your verry own agality course! Fancy having your own gnome glider or even a gnome copter well a few quests and you may build one! See I AM the future you just dont know it yet

I would like to see the Sailing skill personally... and I agree, although MMG says that it will not be implemented - Jagex have also been wrong about many other things.
For those saying that sailing would have no purpose and could not be implemented, just sit back and looks at skills like Construction. The entire concept of training it is repeatedly building the same piece of furniture and then destroying it again. Quite a skill idea we have there. For the F2P skill, I would guess that the F2P portion would be similar to Runecrafting. The members version of the game has just gone so far beyond the free version that it would be impossible to have a skill based mainly around F2P. Theres more land that training areas could be placed in, more skills that could be linked in etc. I cant say that I have any idea about what the skill will be, mind. :phe4r: --------------------    "In the beginning the Universe was created. After a little browsing on youtube today I found something I thought was leaked from jagex but i wasn't paying any attention at the time
