Talk to Grish south of Castle Wars and west of Yanille. Ask him what the Zogres are and ask how you can help out. He'll give you some cooked chompies and super restore potions.
Now go to the east and talk to the guard at the barricade, he'll destroy a part of the barricade. Climb over the crushed barricade, run to the east and enter the cave.
Warning: You'll get diseased, your stats will get lowered over time. If your stats are getting unuseable low, use a stats restore potion.
Go to the most north west room, you'll see a short cutscene. Search the skeleton, a level 39 Zombie will appear, kill the Zombie is shouldn't be hard but make sure your stats don't get too low by the disease. It'll drop a ruined backpack, pickup it up and open it you'll find a dragon inn tankard, a knife and some rotten food.
Now search the broken lecturn, you'll get a torn page.
Continue by searching the Ogre Coffin to the west, then use your knife with the Ogre Coffin to unlock it and search it again to lift the lit off. Search it to find a black prism.
Go out of the cave and go to Yanille.
Finding the truth
Go to the Yanille pub and use the dragon inn tankard on the bartender. He'll tell you that it's Brentle Vahn's mug and that he had seen him talking with some shifty looking wizard the other day.
Head to the magic guild and talk to Zavistic Rarve (ring the bell if he isn't there), he'll tell you 'Sithik Ints' has been doing some research on the dark arts.
Sithink Ints can be found in the house just north of the magic guild. Go upstairs and talk to him, then search through the wardrobe, drawers and cupboard. You'll find a HAM book, book of portraiture, necromancy book and papyrus.
Read the necromancy book to find out that a page has been torn out. Use the torn page with the necromancy book and that'll confirm what you were thinking. Also read the other two books.
Then use the books on Sithik and then use the papyrus on Sithik. Then when the portrait is finished use it on Sithik again to check if he likes it. If it's realistic then it's good, if it's not right take another piece of papyrus out of the drawers and make another one.
Now you should check if Sithik is the shifty looking Wizard the bartender was talking about. So go to the pub and use the sithik portrait with the bartender. He'll tell you it's the shifty Wizard he saw talking with Brentle the other day. He'll sign the portrait for you.
Go to magic guild, talk to Zavistic Rarve (ring the bell if he isn't there). Use the necromancy book and book of 'h.a.m' with with him and finally use the signed portrait on him. You'll get a strange potion.
Go to Sithik and use the strange potion with the cup of tea on the drawers. Go downstairs and then upstairs again to see the effect, Sithik turned into an Ogre! Talk to him and ask him all the questions.
Curing the disease
You'll now need snake weed and rogues purse. Go to Karamja either with the boat from Ardougne or use Glory Amulet. Go to southwest of Tai Bwo Wannai and search in the marshy jungle vines for snake weed.
The rogues purse can be found in a cave north of Tai Bwo Wannai. You'll have to search a wall with fungus. Use the rogues purse with the vial of water, then use the snake weed with the unfinished potion to make relicym's balm.
Now go to Grish and talk to him. Ask him everything you can, he'll give you a ogre gate key and tell you how to make an ogre bow. Use your knife with the achey logs, then use the bowstring with the unstrung ogre bow to finish it. Make sure you have at least 50 arrows.
Now you should get your fighting equipment food, armor and prayer potions. Make sure to recharge your prayer.
Go into the cave, go west and go through the two ogre stone doors. Then go downstairs and follow the path northeast. Search the stand, a level 111 Slash Bash will attack you.
Notice: Don't forget only brutal arrows have a good effect on him.
Slash Bash uses both ranged and melee. You should use protect from melee because the Ranged attack is not that strong. Make sure to keep an eye on your prayer and use a prayer potion when needed. Once he's dead, he'll drop an Ogre artefact and bones, pick everything up.
Now get out of the cave and return to Grish and talk to him. Quest completed!
Now use your relicym's balm with Uglug to get acces to his shop.
