To start the quest, talk to Radimus Erkle in the Legend's Guild. A druidess named Ivy Sophista wants to go on a mission to Karamja and you should help her. The password is: "Our friends in common places great faith in totems."

Go to the Crystal key Chest house in Taverley, south of the Witch's house, and talk to Ivy Sophista. Tell her the secret phrase. You're told to go upstairs and talk with Thaerisk.

It appears that the Karamja mission is a cover-up and druids are worried about Lucien's hunger for power.

Your talk with Thaerisk will get interrupted by two level 38 Assassins. They will attack with ranged. Kill them and talk to Thaerisk again.

Ask Thaerisk about their actions against Lucien and he tells you to see Reldo to get some information about Movario.

Go to Reldo in Varrock Castle's Library.

He tells you to talk to a jungle hunter expert to find an animal that is able to track things and people down.

Items for the next part:
Required: Knife, Hatchet or Logs
Suggested: Means to get to Feldip Hills hunter area(Gnome Glider, Fairy Ring code)

Talk to the hunting expert in the hunting area south of Feldip Hills. She will tell you about the Wild Broav and she provides you with a Mort Myre Fungus, which serves as bait.

Now go west of the hunting expert's hut until you see some pits.

Use the logs with the pit to make a trap. Now use your Mort Myre Fungus with the trap and it will attract a Wild Broav. Once it is trapped, dismantle the trap and return to the hunter expert.

Items for the next part:
Required: 5000gp or Ring of Charos(a), Wild Broav, 1 air rune, 1 mind rune, 1 water rune, 1 earth rune, 1 fire rune.
Suggested: Armor, food, antipoison.

Now head to Khazard.

Ask the Khazard guards north of the Fight Arena about Movario. They will tell you that he takes his laundry to the north-west of the Fight Arena.
Go to the Khazard Launderer, north-west of the Fight Arena. Ask him about Movario. He won't talk to you about it because of client priveleges.
Either bribe him with 5000gp or charm him if you're wearing the Ring of Charos(a). He will give you an old shirt of Movario.

Use the dirty laundry with your Wild Broav and it will walk towards the north-west. Follow it. Use the laundry with the Broav everytime it stops moving.

The Broav will lead you to the ruins at the Khazard Battlefield. It will stop at the door of the most western ruin. The door is locked, so you will have to climb over the ruined wall.

Use the dirty laundry with your Broav again and it will walk to the broken table and squeal.

Search the broken table. It is actually a trapdoor! Open it and go down.

There are several level 95 Elite Khazard guards here.
Run west and at the crossway, go north. Follow the road till the end and go down the stairs.
You will get a message that you won't be able to teleport out of this room.

There's an old battered door in front of you. Search it.

You will see a message saying "Further acces prohibited" and some symbols. One of the letters in the "Further acces prohibited" sentence is replaced by a rune symbol. Use the correct rune on the door. If you use the wrong rune, you will get hit by a magic attack for 25 damage.

However, the mage attack has the color of the correct rune, e.g. if it should be a water rune the magic attack will be blue.

After you've placed the right rune on the door, search it for traps. If you won't check for traps, you will be hit for 35, poisoned and attacked by 3 Elite Khazard guards.

Disarm the trap and open the door.

In this room, you've to lead the electricity away from the gate.
Look at the wires on the ground. The wires with power should shake a bit. Go to the bookcase which the wire leads to and search it to pull a lever. You will get a CLICK message in your chat box. Continue searching the levers in the bookcases which the powered wires lead to and eventually you will get a message in your textbox saying the northern door has locked. You can now pass through the gate.(6 levers)

Search the painting in the east of the room. Go past it to go to a small, hidden room. Check the thermometer and search the drawers for some notes.

Now go through the metal gate, where you deactivated the electricity, and search the spiral staircase and disable the trap before climbing up.
Once upstairs, search the desk for the first volume of Movario's notes.

Pick up the waste basket next to the desk. Search it to obtain a ruby key.

Search the bookcase at the west of the room and use the ruby key with it. A staircase will appear. Climb up. Search the bed to reveal a chest. Search the chest to disarm the trap and then open it with the ruby key.

You will get the second volume of Movario's notes and a strange key loop and teeth. (the ruby key can be thrown away now.) Head down again.

Now you've to balance the weight at the statue. You need to set it to your weight minus the amount on the thermometer.

Take the right amount of weights from the hidden room behind the painting downstairs and place it on the statue. Now proceed through the door in the east.

If you've placed the right amount of weights, you will appear at the dungeon with the Elite Khazard guards again. Now head back to Thaerisk in Taverley.

Items for the next part:
Required: Movario's notes volume 1 and 2.
Suggested: Camelot Teleport, armor, weapon.

Talk to Thaerisk about Movario's notes and he tells you to go to the Armadyl guardians at McGrubor's Woods.

Teleport to Camelot and walk to McGrubor's Woods. You will see a cutscene where some Armadyl guardians are being attacked by mercenaries(level 48 and 88). Kill them(the mage will teleport away) and talk to the wounded Armadyl guardian. He tells you to go “seek Idria who is in the arms of a forester.'

Go upstairs in the the bar in Seer's Village and talk to Idria.

You decide that the Temple Knights might be able to help you out. Go visit Sir Tiffy Cashien in Falador Park. Sir Tiffy Cashien tells you to speak to Akrisae Kolluym on the eastern part of the ground floor of Falador Castle.

Talk to Akrisae and he will give you a teleorb, which you need to plant on a spy. If you ask how to get to Draynor Village, you can get a free teleport.

Items for the next part:
Required: Snapdragon seed or enough cash to buy one at GE price, lantern lens, 20gp, seed dibber.
Suggested: 2 Falador Teleports

Use the teleorb with one of the shady strangers with white robes.

Now go back to Akrisae in Falador Castle. He will teleport the shady stranger to the cell in the castle.

In a cutscene, a druid attempts to give the stranger the truth serum, but the spy attacks him and the vial of serum breaks.

Talk to Thaerisk to learn how to make a new truth serum. He will offer you a free teleport to Port Sarim.

Once in Port Sarim, go to Betty, the Rune shop owner.
To make an enriched snapdragon, you will need a rose-tinted lens. Buy some pink dye from Betty and use it with your lantern lens to make a rose-tinted lens. While you're here, get some regular truth serum from Betty, which is needed to make the super truth serum. Now stand in the doorway with the door open and use the rose-tinted lens with the counter.

Search the counter to obtain the enriched snapdragon seed.
Return to Falador Castle and talk to Thaerisk.

He tells you to plant the seed on a special patch on the roof of the castle. Go to the western tower and go up three sets of stairs.

Plant the enriched snapdragon seed in the patch.

Items for the next part:
Required: none
Suggested: Games necklace, karamja gloves 3, Lunar or Dramen staff, Falador teleport.

Now go talk to Idria. She tells you to assemble a party of heroes: Turael, Duradel, Hazelmere and Mazchna.

You can use your own method of travelling, but these are the fastest options:

Turael: Use a games necklace to teleport to the Burthorpe games room.

Duradel: Use the Karamja Gloves 3 teleport or the cart service.

Hazelmere: Fairy ring code CLS

Mazchna: Fairy Ring code CKS(west of Canifis) or DLS(Myreque hideout), Ancient spellbook's Canifis teleport or use a Canifis portal in your house.

Once you've recruited them all, go back to the Falador Castle.

Items for the next part:
Required: Charcoal, papyrus, truth serum
Suggested: none

Harvest your enriched snapdragon seed on top of Falador Castle. Use the enriched snapdragon with the truth serum to make some super truth serum.

Go in the cell and use the super truth serum with the shady stranger. Choose any of the options until he drinks the serum. The spy tells about a mage named Dark Squall. If you got some charcoal and papyrus in your inventory, you will make a sketch of Dark Squall.

Talk to Idria. She tells you to recruit four more members for the group. They are Cyrisus, Sloane, Harrallak and Ghommal.

Items for the next part:
Required: 1 astral rune, 1 cosmic rune, 2 air runes.
Suggested: Games necklace, enchanted lyre, around 300gp, Falador teleport.

Ghommal, Harrallak and Sloane can all be found in the Warrior's guild. Use a games necklace to teleport to the Burthorpe games room and walk from there.
Buy a bronze medium helm and an iron chainbody while you're there.

Cyrisus: The Lunar spell "NPC Contact" is required to speak with Cyrisus. Use the enchanted lyre to teleport to Relleka and travel to Lunar Isle. Change to the Lunar Spellbook and contact Cyrisus. Don't forget to change back to the regular spellbook, as you will need it soon.

Once you've recruited them all, go back to Falador Castle.

Items for the next part:
Required: Bronze medium helm, iron chainbody, uncharged orb, 3 cosmic runes, 30 of one kind elemental rune.
Suggested: Armor, food, at least two different attack styles (ranged/melee, magic/melee, ranged/magic)

It appears that Silif went after Dark Squall, but he hasn't returned and Akrisae is worried that he might have been taken captive.

Go to the Black Knights' Fortress. You need to wear a bronze medium helm and an iron chainbody to get in.
Push the wall to the north of the entrance and go down the ladder.

Use your charge orb spell on the tile and it will transform into a trapdoor. Go down.

Kill Elite Black Knights until you have a complete set of Elite Black Knight armor. A full set consists of a helm, platebody and legs.
They can use protection prayers, so change your attack style once they pray against your attack style or wait until their prayer runs out.

Once you've equipped these, you won't be attacked anymore.

Jump across the rope bridge. Walk a bit towards the north and take the eastern path. Climb up the wall and head north.
Jump over the barricades or walk around them and head further north until you see the three solid black doors: one west, one north, one east.
Enter the northern one.

Search the desk to find a strange teleorb.

Search the other desk to find a restore potion and a lobster.
Move east and you'll see Dark Squall. Use the spy-on option.

Head back west and open the wardrobe to the south to find a Dagon'hai clothing set. Search the key rack at the northern wall to obtain a cell door key.
Open and search the wardrobe a little west of the key rack to obtain another set of Elite Black Armor.
Exit the room the same way you came in and go to the cells towards the east.

Open the cell with your key and give Silif the lobster and the restore potion.

Once he's restored, talk to him and give him the Elite Black Armor set. Silif will follow you disguised as an Elite Black Knight.

Go through the northern solid black door again. Walk to the southern part of the room, near the map board, and talk to Silif. He will give you a teleorb.

Plant the teleorb on Dark Squall, who appears to be Surok. After he commands his guards to attack, teleport out and go back to Falador Castle.

Items for the next part:
Required: Dagon'hai set, law rune, death rune, strange teleorb
Suggested: Food, Falador teleport

Equip your Dagon'hai robes and go in the cell. You will be teleported into Surok's base.
Go east and up the ladder. Stand on the symbol on the ground and activate the strange teleorb.

You will be teleported to a snowy area. An Elite Black Knight tells you that Lucien is recruiting and you're able to watch from the top of the chapel.
Take the path to the northeast and climb the ice wall.

Now jump to the chapel.

Go east and a cut scene will start.
The group you have assembled will come to help, but six of eight will be easily killed. You decide it's better to return to Falador.
Once the cut scene has ended you will be attacked by Elite Black Knights. You won't be able to teleport because you're in the Wilderness. Jump back to the wall and climb down. Now you can teleport out.

Go back to Falador Castle and talk to Idria. Movario has moved to the Lumbridge Caves and you're ordered to investigate disguised as Surok.

Items for the next part:
Required: Lit sapphire lantern
Suggested: Several free inventory spaces required for the puzzles.

Enter the Lumbridge caves and go to the cave where the Tears of Guthix minigame is located.
Talk to Movario and tell him Lucien sent you.

Now use your sapphire lantern on a light creature and choose to go in the chasm.

Search the skeletons for some items that will come in handy.

There are two stones with search options, one at the entrance and one towards the west. Use your spade with them to remove the rocks and then use your chisel on the broken brazier to obtain a fire orb and an earth orb.

Go south and use your chisel with the two braziers to obtain a water orb and an air orb.

Now go all the way south and you will see four stone skulls(to get to the fourth one, climb the wall next to the middle skull.).
Examine the recessed block next to the nose of the skull.

Use the elemental orbs with the respective elemental symbols to obtain a key of the respective element. Once you've all 4 elemental keys go back to the main level with the 3 skulls.

Now enter a nose cavity of one of the skulls and go all the way to the end of the path. Examine the lock and use the right elemental key with the respective elemental symbol stated in the examine.

Do this with the other skulls as well. The last key goes into the recessed block of the top skull.
Search the nearby Stone Cube and the mouth of the skull will open.

Climb through it and follow the path until you reach the central room.

There are eight paths, the northern one leads to the entrance where you came from, the southern one is blocked by a huge door.
The other paths lead to eight statues.

In this puzzle you must fill the bowls of the eight statues with the right potion ingredients.
If you examine a statue it will give a hint about what the right ingredients are. For example, if the examine says "The statue appears to depict energy." you will need the ingredients of an energy or a super energy potion.

To get the ingredients, use the druid pouch with the druid spirits who wander nearby. They drop a set of ingredients only once.
You can sacrifice a few prayer points and use the cast-bloom option of the Silver Sickle(b) near some dead vines to fill your druid pouch.

Note: Don't fill your druid pouch when you have a Mort Myre Fungus in your inventory, as you will use it to fill the pouch and you will have to get another Fungus yourself.

If you use the correct ingredients with the statue, you will get a dolmen.

When you have all eight dolmen, use them on the stone table at the central room. Once you've placed all eight dolmen on the table, the huge door will be opened.
It is advised to bank before proceeding.

Items for the next part:
Required: none
Suggested: High level armor, high level food, multiple attack styles, super set, super restore.

Go through the passage that used to be blocked by the huge door. Follow the path until you arrive at a mysterious stone.

Search and touch the stone and a Balance Elemental(level 454) appears. You have to kill it.

The Balance Elemental uses melee, magic and ranged and it can hit up to 30. It is possible to get him stuck behind the Stone of Jas or behind the pillars, making it only able to attack with ranged and magic.
In case you want to switch prayers, its ranged attack looks like a large, red arrow and his magic attack looks like some flying rocks. Its magic attack can drain your stats, so super restore potions might come in handy.

It will chat a few times during the battle, but he will attack you again once he's done talking.

Once you've killed it, search the stone again. Movario and Darve will appear. Talk with them until Lucien appears. He will summon two Tormented Demons(level 450).

Lucien will teleport away and you will have kill the Tormented Demons. A few Guardians of Armadyl(level 57) will come to help you.
These demons are pretty easy to defeat, as your stats have been boosted to level 255. The demons are able to change prayers, so change your attack style when they do.

Once you've defeated the Tormented Demons, talk to Idria.

She offers you a free teleport to Falador. Accept it or choose to get out of there by yourself.
Talk to Idria in Falador Castle.
