Go to the Watchtower northwest of Yanille. Climb up the Trellis outside to get in, go up the stairs and talk to the Watchtower Wizard. Ask him what's the matter, he'll tell you the Watchtower isn't working because the crystals are stolen. He'll ask you to search evidence and suggests to search the bushes near the Watchtower.
Go down the stairs and go outside the Watchtower. Search the bushes until you find a tattered eye patch, fingernails, damaged dagger and unusual armour.
Return to the Watchtower Wizard and talk to him. Go down the Watchtower and pick up the lit candle, it is needed later in the quest. Now you should find out how to get into Gu'Tanoth.
The first crystal
Go to Og, who can be found west of Yanille. Tell him that you seek entrance to the city of ogres. He'll ask you to get gold back from Toban.
Walk a little bit south and there is an Island with another group of Ogres. Use a rope on the branche of the long branched tree (west of the island) and swing across to get on the island.
Talk to Grew and tell him that you can help him. You'll have to knock out one of the tooth from Gorad, which is an enemy of Grew. Take one of the Jangerberries, you'll need them later.
Go to the southeast (south of Yanille) to the island from Toban and Gorad. When you reach the island you can't cross the bridge, because it's broken. But there is a cave leading to it, go to the southwest (not the first cave you see) and walk around the edge of the mountain. When you reach a cave that looks like a hole in the ground, enter it to reach the island.
Use toban's key on the chest to get toban's gold. Walk to Gorad (level 68) and attack him. He should be easy unless you're low level then you might need prayer or food. Once you killed Gorad talk to Toban, he'll ask you for some dragon bones. Give him the dragon bones to get relic part 3.
Return to Og and give him his gold, you'll get relic part 1. Then go to Grew and give him the tooth to get relic part 2 and one of the crystals.
Go back to the Watchtower and talk to the Watchtower mage, he'll take your relic parts and creates an ogre relic.
The second crystal
Go to the entrance of Gu'Tanoth, which is southwest of Yanille (go up the path). Use the orgre relic on the guards (don't talk), to enter Gu'Tanoth.
Warning: Don't eat rock cakes, you'll lose health!
Walk down to the market and steal an ogre cake from the stall.
Go back to the path and walk south. When you reach a battlement, try to go over it. The ogre guards will stop you and ask for something from the market. Try to go over the battlement again, to give them the rock cake. Now you can go over the battlement, continue by walking to the east.
This time you'll have to pay 20 gp to jump over the bridge. Continue by following the path until you reach some Ogre Guards. Talk to them and tell them that you're seeking passage to the skavid caves. He'll give you a riddle the answer is death rune. Use the death rune on the guard to get the map.
Now leave the city and enter each of the caves on the edge of the mountain, until you find the Scared Skavid. If you're being nice to him, he'll teach you Skavid so you can talk to the other Skavids. Talk to the other Skavids (in the other caves) and answer their questions correctly (if you answer the questions wrong they will tell say '???'). Return to Skavid and then he'll tell you that his helpers told him you learned Skavid and that it's time to go to the mad skavids.
Go up the opposite path of the entrance to Gu'Tanoth and go through the gate (you will need to pay a gold bar). Go into the cave and talk to the mad skavid answer his question in skavid like you learned. You'll get another crystal, then pickup a cave nightshade you'll need this for later.
Warning: Don't eat cave nightshade!
The third crystal
Highly suggested: Take an anti-dragon shield and food with you.
Go to the market in Gu'Tanoth, use a nightshade on one of the enclave guards (near a cave entrance). You'll see a message asking if you're scared, say no to enter the cave.
Run to the north and leave the cave, you'll end up near Yanille out of the Ogre city. Go back to the Watchtower and talk to the Watchtower Wizard. You'll have to mix a potion.
1. Use the guam with the vial of water.
2. Use jangerberries with the guam potion (unf).
3. Use the pestal and mortar with the bat bones.
4. Use the ground bat bones with the potion.
Talk to the Watchtower Wizard and he'll enchant the potion.
Go back to the market and use the nightshade on the guard to get in the cave. Use the potion on all the Ogre Shamans to kill them, once you've killed them all you'll get the third crystal. Stay in the cave there is an other crystal there.
The last crystal
Run to the center of the cave an mine the Rock of Dalgroth for the last crystal. Go back to the Watchtower and talk to the Watchtower Wizard, put the crystals on the right pillars and pull the lever to finish the quest.
