Start by going to the tree gnome village just south west of Ardougne. It will look like a maze. Follow this map to the center of the maze go trough the fence and then talk to King Bolren.
King Bolren will tell you that you need to get orbs to defend the gnomes. You will need to get 3 orbs in total to complete this quest. A gnome will guide (teleport) you out of the village.
The first orb
Start by giving Commander Montai 6 regular logs. He can be found just north of the maze in the Kazard battlefield. Give him the logs and now he will tell you about 3 tracker gnomes that got information on the coordinates of the ballista.
Find the tracker gnomes around the battlefield and they will give you the coordinates (you don't need to remember them).
The first gnome can be found north of the most western Khazard building.
The second gnome can be found in the jail in the Khazard base.
The third gnome can be found west from the north side of the battlefield, he'll act really odd and he will tell you a riddle which you need to solve.
This can be one of the following
Less that my fingers which means 4
Less than my hands which means 1
More that my head which means 2
And less than our feet which means 3
You need to remember this number!
Go to the Ballista and enter the number. A arrow will hit a wall so you can enter the building. Go over the damaged wall and then kill the Khazard Commander. Go upstairs and kill the second Khazard Commander, search the chest to find the orb. Return to the tree gnome village.
Tip: Talk to Elkoy at the start of the village to let him show you the way out.
Talk to King Bolren and he tells you to get another 2 orbs.
The warlord
Ok its time for the fight. Bring anything you need from your bank and then go to this place shown by a red dot on this map ( blue dot stands for wolves) talk to the warlord and then attack him.
He uses melee and for the low levels I recommend bringing cakes. Lobsters will do fine to. After you killed it pick up the orbs and go back to King Bolren.
Quest complete!
