After completing the Underground Pass quest, you'll receive a message from King Lathas. Urging you to come to him, because you're needed to serve the kingdom.

Go to Ardougne castle and talk to King Lathas. He'll ask you to kill his brother Tyras and to find an easy way back to Ardougne. Because the Underground Pass isn't really an easy route. You'll have to go through the Underground Pass.

To reach the Underground Pass, go in West Ardougne and keep walking west until you reach a cave (at Koftik in the map above). Enter the cave.

Note: You'll just have to go through the Underground Pass like you did before in the Underground Pass quest. I will tell you how to do it in this guide, but I will not explain it as fully as in the Underground Pass quest guide.

Underground pass

You've entered the Underground Pass, follow the path until you reach a swamp (don't enter). Go around it by climbing the rockslides on the north or south path.

Talk to Koftik, you'll get a damp cloth. Use the damp cloth on an arrow, use the arrow in the fire, go to the north and fire the arrow on the guide rope. Try again if you miss. You'll reach the other side.

Go to the north and pick up the plank. Then follow the path to the south, until you reach a giant hole. Use a rope on the rock (above the hole). Continue following the path, climb over the rockslides.

When you reach Koftik there is a puzzle where you'll have to reach the other side, by walking on the right squares. You should remember the path you took in Underground Pass, because you'll always have to take that path. If you didn't, you should try to find out your path and make sure to write it down this time! At the other side pull the lever.

Walk a little further until you reach a corridor. You'll have to run through the corridor (you will get hit). Then climb down the well.

Follow the path until you reach some cages. Picklock the first cage and use your spade on the mud.

Cross the ledge at the end of the path.

Now you can either take the bridge or the gate (gate is a bit to the south) (50 thieving), you'll have to go to the east side.

Next go to the east and go through the pipe. Then pass through the tunnel.

Follow the path until you reach flat rocks. Use your plank on the flat rock, to pass them. Then continue walking west to the gate and open the door.

Note: From here on the guide will be detailed again.

Well of Voyage

Go to the west, to the northwest corner. Move south until you reach the 3rd ledge. Cross the bridge and continue by moving southeast.

Note: When you fall down just go back up in the northwest corner.

When you reach the disciples of iban you'll have to pass the gaps and go to the west inside the building (open the door).

Talk to Koftik, he'll tell you to climb down the well. When you climb down the well you'll reach another cave.

Tip: Recharge your prayer.

Go to the west and exit the cave.

Once you exit the cave you'll see an elf named Idris who will be shot down by two other Elves. These Elves will tell you to go to Lord Iowerth in the camp to the northwest.

Before you go there I should warn you of some common traps in the Isafdar woods.

Leave traps, these traps are located on the roads and are pretty big. But if you use the map to walk to places you have a large risk in stepping on one. Pass them by right clicking and clicking 'jump over'.

Stick traps, these traps are located in narrow spots between trees or rocks. Pass them by right clicking and clicking 'pass sticks'.

Trip wire traps, these traps will poison you when stepped on. Pass them by right clicking and clicking 'step over'.

To get to the elf camp you should follow the path to the west (make sure to watch out for traps). First you'll reach a leave trap, go over it by clicking 'jump over'.

Continue following the path until you reach some blue mushrooms. There you should go to the west over the stick traps, go over them by clicking 'pass sticks'.

Then follow the path northwest you'll reach another leave trap. Go over it and continue north, until you reach a log balance. Go over the log balance, you've reached the elf camp.

Talk to Lord Iowerth at the campfire, he'll ask you to talk to a tracker to the south.

Go to the tracker, the tracker is just south of the stick trap you passed earlier. Go south over the log balance, continue south and jump over the leaves, keep moving south until you reach the Elf Tracker.

Talk to the Elf Tracker, he'll think you're one of Tyras men and will ask for proof. So go back to Lord Iowerth to get some proof. Lord Iowerth will give you a crystal pendant. Go to the Elf Tracker and talk to him. He'll tell you to search for traces on the west side of the camp.

Go to the west and you'll find some tracks, right click them and click 'follow tracks'. You'll not be able to follow them, because they reach into impossible woodland. Talk to the Elf Tracker, he'll tell you to look for hidden paths. Go to the west and enter the dense forest, continue through the dense forest until you're at the other side.

When you reached the other side a Tyras guard (level 110) will attack you. Kill him and make sure to heal when needed.

Walk a little to the west until you see some rocks. Between these rocks is tripwire, step over the trip wire. If you still get hit make sure to use your antipoison. Continue north through the dense forest. Then go west and to the Tyras guard. Go through the dense forest to the south, into the camp.

Talk to General Hinning in the camp. He'll tell you that you can't meet the king, but he will tell you when you'll be able to see him. Pick up some barrels, you only need one but you might waste a few.

Go back to the Tracker. He'll tell you to go to Lord Iowerth. But first go a bit to the south to the swamp and use your barrels on the tar. Take some sulphur from the rocks and grind them with your pestle and mortar.

Killing Tyras

Go back to Lord Iowerth and speak to him. He'll give you a book, read it.

When you have the barrels with coal tar and ground sulphur. Teleport away and get some limestone's (not bricks). You can get it from the grand exchange (chances are that it's not being sold) or mine it in the mine northeast of Varrock.

Warning: Make sure you have more than 8 hitpoints because making a limestone brick costs 8 hitpoints!

Then go to a furnace and use the limestone on the furnace. You'll get quicklime, use your pestle and mortar on the quicklime to get a pot of quicklime.

Bank the quicklime and sulphur, take out lots of coal and also take the book and barrels with you. Go to Rimmington and talk to the Chemist. He'll tell you to make Naphtha and tells you that you can use the distill around the back.

Use the barrel of coal-tar on the fractionalizing still. Add coal and turn the right valve when the heat is in the green. Turn the left valve when the pressure is in the green. If one of the meters is in the red the machine will shut down and you'll have to do it all over again. Once the bar is fully green then close the window and you'll get a barrel of Naphtha. Add the sulphur and quicklime to get a barrel bomb.

Items required for this part: barrel bomb, 4 balls of wool, spade, rope, bow, arrows, food, plank (or pick it up in the Underground pass) and a way to teleport.
Go to Ardougne and go through the Underground pass again.

Go to the Elf Camp, weave at the loom to make a cloth. Use the cloth on the barrel bomb.

Now, go to the Elf Tracker, there should be some rabbits near there. Kill a rabbit and take the uncooked rabbit. Cut some logs and light a fire. Use the uncooked rabbit on the fire to make a cooked rabbit.

You should now go to the catapult in front of Tyras camp. Talk to Tyras guard, he'll tell you he will do anything for a cooked rabbit. Use the cooked rabbit on him. Then quickly use the barrel bomb on the catapult.

Tyras will be dead, go back to Lord Iowerth and talk to him. He'll tell you to go back to King Lathas and tells you to take the Arandar Gates to the northeast.

Go to King Lathas, when you try to enter the castle an elf scout will talk to you and will reveal the truth about King Lathas. and talk to him to complete the quest.
