Intro:
The prayer guild is a large monastery, with two entrances. One from the north (wilderness), and one from the south. The prayer guild is most used by player-killers who want to recharge their prayer points, and that’s not for nothing! The prayer guild gives you 2 more prayer points than if you recharge at a normal altar. Although the prayer guild is built a bit far out of the way, it still is a good training spot for people under combat 30, because the monks are just level 5 and they can heal you if you are injured.

Location:
The prayer guild can be found west from Edgeville, or north-west from Barbarian Village.

Requirements:
Although everyone has got access to the ground floor of the guild, the 2nd floor is only for members of the order (guild members). To become member of the order, you have to be at least 31 prayer.

Ground floor:
The ground floor is more than just a floor, it also contains a garden and a courtyard. Several monks are walking in the courtyard and on the ground floor of the building. These monks are very good for training, especially for people under combat 30. The monks can even heal you if you talk to them. A cabbage field can be found in the north of the garden, which can be useful for the lower level people that are training in the courtyard. There are four fountains in the courtyard just in case you need some water. Abbot Langley runs the whole guild. Talk to him if you want to become member of the order and you will get access to the second floor. He can be found in the south-east corner of the guild.

Second floor:
The second floor actually is the real prayer guild. It has two entrances; one in the south-east corner, and one in the south-west corner of the guild. The altar of the guild is in the north of the second floor, this altar gives you a bonus of 2 extra prayer points when you pray at it. There’s a table with monk robes in the east of the guild, and a Kharid scorpion which will sting you and do some damage if you pick it up. Two monks are walking around, so in case you need some health, just talk to them. Brother Jered can be found in the south-west corner of the second floor. He can bless your unholy symbols, or can sell the prayer skill cape to you if you are 99 prayer (members only).
