Observatory Quest

Start:
Observatory Professor in the Observatory house, north of castle wars.

Required:

Items: 3 planks, bronze bar and molten glass	Skills: 10 Crafting
Monster encounters: Level 42 Goblin Guard

Go to the Observatory house southwest of Ardougne and north of Castle Wars. Start the quest by talking to Observatory Professor in the Observatory. Ask him if you can look through the telescope, he'll tell you it's broken. Offer your help, he will ask for 3 wooden planks and a molten glass.

Don't know how to make molten glass? Check out the crafting guide.

Talk to him three times to give him all the items he needs. Now you'll have to get a lens mold. Go downstairs at the house to the east, to get into a dungeon.

Go to the southeast part of the dungeon (use the map) and search the chest.

Now go to the lens mould on the map and prod the guard. It's level 42 you should kill it. If you're a really low level, make sure you use food and prayer if you have it.

Get through the get and inspect the goblin stove to get the lens mould.

Go back to the Observatory house and talk to the professor, he can't make the lens. So make it for him.

Now go back into the dungeon and go to the observatory by following the map (to the south). Use the telescope, you will observe a random constellation. When you close the telescope the professor will talk to you, you'll be rewarded based on the constellation you saw. Below is a list of rewards you get for the constellations. If you want another constellation, just walk away and look through the telescope again. Quest completed!

Aquarius: 25 Water runes
Aries: 875 Attack exp
Cancer: Amulet of protection
Capricorn: 875 Strength exp
Gemini: Black 2-handed sword and uncut sapphire
Leo: 875 Hitpoints exp
Libra: 3 Law runes
Pisces: 3 Cooked tunas and uncut sapphire
Sagittarius: Maple longbow
Scorpio: Weapon poison
Taurus: Super strength potion
Virgo: 875 Defence exp and uncut sapphire

Reward:
A payment depending on which constellation you observed. Look above for the rewards.
