Talk to the wanderer to begin the quest. Your cat will scare her and she wants you to pute away your cat. Do that and she'll offers you info about a secret way into Sophanem.
She'll ask for a tinderbox and a full waterskin.
Talk to her again and take the last option.
She'll hypnotize you and you'll enter the city at the pyramid.
Touch it and you'll will enter the pyramid. There will be obstacles so read this carefully.
The first obstacle is easy some walltraps but take your time.
Turn run on. And just try to avoid hitting the walltraps (just zig-zag).
The second obstacle is a lil harder.
Note: watch out for the mummy.
Just look at the picture before you try to walk.
Start left walk until you see a sort of block on the wall and then take one step forward.
Then one left and 3 forward and one right and then again 3 steps forward.
Now again go left and run until the end.
Just run past the mummies and the other monsters. You will need to past wall crushers on your way but just use the same method. Use anti poison if you need.
You'll need 20% energy for this jump.
When you're at the end jump over the pit.
At the other side head west and you'll get a puzzle.
Solve it and you'll get a flashback and you'll end up outside the pyramid.
Note: if you answer wrong you'll lose your cat.
Now speak to the sphinx outside the pyramid. Ask her for help. You will get a riddle about a family and sons. The correct answer is 9. She'll tell you to talk to the high priest. She'll give you a token so you can talk to the high priest.
The high priest is located in the temple. Talk to him and he'll tell you need to bring the jar back because you originally stole it.
Go back into the pyramid and follow the steps you did before. And get to the same room of the puzzle.
Get in and you'll get hypnotised again and pick a jar. (just try until you get the good one)
When you pick it up a level 75 guardian appears.
Kill it use prayer if you need. Get out of the room and jump over the pit. And you'll get out of hypnosis. Get back to the room and pute it back.
Go back to the high priest again and he'll ask you to prepare the ceremony.
Go to the carpenter located east of the embalmer (embalmer is located south of the temple) and give him the willow log.
Now go to the Embalmer south of the temple and talk to him. He'll need a bucket of sap, salt and linen.
-Linen
You can buy the linen north of the carpenter.
-Sap
Take a knife and a bucket and use the knife on an evergreen tree.
-Salt
Buy it at a slayer master.
Talk to the Embalmer again and give him the bucket of sap, salt and linen. He'll tell you to talk to the high priest. The high priest tells you that the carpenter should be ready by now.
Talk to the carpenter and he'll give you the holy symbol.
Head back into the pyramid until you reach the eastern burial chamber.
Enter and use the holy symbol on one of the Sarcophagus. Exit the chamber. And you'll tell yourself you shouldn't have done that.
Head back to the eastern burial chamber and after a cutscene you'll need to find a level 91 possessed spirit. Use protect of magic if you can.
Talk to the high priest and exit the room and you'll be hypnotized again and find yourself in the eastern burial chamber. Head outside to the high priest to claim your reward!!.
