Note: You need to talk to alot of ghosts, so wear the ghostspeak amulet the entire quest.
1. Take 7 pots, 7 buckets and 7 bones with you. Go to the temple north of Port Phasmatys. You"ll find yourself in a room with a fountain-like thing called: ""Ectofuntus"". Climb down a few ladders and you are in a room with a big lake of ectoplasm.
Use all of your seven buckets with it. Now go back to the room with the ectofuntus.
Go up the stairs and grind your seven bones with the bone-grinder( to do this, use your bones with the grinder, then click on the grinder to wheel it. At last, use your pot with it ).
Go down the stairs and right-click on the ectofuntus. Choose the option: ""Worship"".
After that talk to a ghost disciple. He will give you 35 Ecto-Tokens.
2. Finally, you can start the quest. Go in Port Phasmatys ( you"ll need to pay 2 Ecto-Tokens ), and go to the east. In a house there you"ll find Velorina. Talk to her and she asks if you know the story of their city. I recommend to say yes, because it"s a long story. Go back to the temple and talk to Necrovarus. He gets very angry because you"ve spoken with Velorina. Go back to her( pay 2 Ecto-Tokens to get in the city ). She knows another way to go to the afterlife. Velorina once had a friend who was a disciple from Necrovarus before they all died. You need to find her.
3. For this part you need the bowl of water, gloves and the bucket of milk.
The old woman lives north of Canifis and east of the slayer castle. She tells you thats she forget it, but some nettle tea can bring back some memories.
Go pick some nettles, you can find them east of the slayer master of Canifis.( Wear the gloves when you"re picking up the nettles, or you"ll get poisoned )
Now use the nettles with your bowl of water and boil it on a fire or a range.
Give the nettle tea to the old lady. She only wants to drink from her own cup, and she will give it to you.
Use your nettle tea with her cup and talk to her again. She now tells that she wants milk in her tea, so use your bucket of milk with the nettle tea. At last, she wants to drink the tea and her memories are coming back. She"s going to expand your amulet of ghostspeak, but she need some items for it.
4. Take a silk, needle, thread, dyes, 29 Ecto-Tokens, spade and an oak longbow. To save room, you can leave the spade, longbow and 25 Ecto-Tokens on the bank. Talk again to the old woman and tell that you want to do something for her in return. She tells about her missing son and gives you his model boat.
Now use your silk with the boat(you must have the needle,thread and knife in your inventory).
Now walk east past Frenkenstrains Castle until you see a broken pirate ship( it"s northwest of the dead cow & chicken farm ). Enter the boat and climb 2 ladders. Search the mast during low wind to found out what colors the bottom,skull and the top of the sail are. Paint your model boat with the same colors.
Go down 1 ladder and ask the a man if it"s his model boat. He say yes and"ll give you a key. You can open the chest next to him with the key. You"ll find a map piece.
Now go to the west side of the ship and walk over a plank and you"re outside of the ship. Now use the ""jump rock"" option to jump to another rock. To this a couple of times until you reach a chest. Open it and you"ll find another map piece. Go back to the ship.
Search the chests on the lowest floor of the ship. While searching you’ll be attacked by a level 32 Giant Lobster. Kill it and look in the chest again, and you’ll find the last map piece. Use the pieces on each other to get the whole map.
5. Go back to Port Phasmatys and take a spade, the map and 25 ecto-tokens. Go to the east and search for a small boat. Talk to the captain and sail to Dragontooth Island.
Once there, you’ll see a statue. Start on the west side of it, next to it’s arm. Now follow the steps on the map( it has changed since you are on Dragontooth island ). Go 6 steps south, 8 steps east, 2 steps north, 4 steps east, 22 steps south. Now dig here to get the book.
6. For this part you’ll need 100gp and an Oak Longbow
Go back with the rowing boat. When you’re arrived on the docks, talk to Ak Haranu. Ask him for the translation manual. He wants an Oak Longbow signed by Robin for that. Go to the Inn( in Port Phasmatys ) and win 4 times the Runedraw Game. Then he’ll sign your Longbow. Now go back to Ak Haranu and trade the longbow for the translation manual.
Now go to the Innkeep and ask for a job. He’ll give you a bedsheet to give it to Robin. Don’t give it to Robin, you’ve to keep it. Go back to the place where you have filled your buckets with ectoplasm( hold the bedsheet in your inventory ) and use the bedsheet with the ectoplasm. Now go back to the town and talk to Gravingas. You’ll need to get a petition signed with 10 signatures. Just ask the ghosts if they want to sign the petition( you’ll have to wear the bedsheet, or else the ghosts don’t trust you ).
There are ghosts that sell their signature, but you should only do that when you have too many ecto-tokens.
When you’ve 10 signatures, go to Necrovarus. He’ll get angry and accidently drops his key. Take the key and go upstairs. Now use the key on the door in the south. Search the coffins to find the robes.
Take the translation manual, book and the robes to the old lady. Now she’ll enchant your Ghostspeak Amulet with 1 charge.
Go back to Necrovarus and talk to him while wearing the enchanted Ghostspeak Amulet. Tell him the most upper option. Then go back to Port Phasmatys and talk to Velorina.
