Eadgar's Ruse

Start:
Sanfew located in the central building in Taverley (2nd floor)

Required:

Items: Climbing Boots, Pineapple, Vodka, Knife, Vial of Water, Ranaar Weed, 5 Raw Chickens, 10 Grains of Wheat, 2 Normal Logs and Pestle and Mortar	Quests: Troll Stronghold and Druidic Ritual
Skills: Level 31 Herblore

Talk to Sanfew to start the quest. He'll ask you to get a herb that the trolls call 'goutweed'. Now you need to go to the north to talk to Mad Eadgar.

Move to Trollheim and go to the top and enter his house and talk to Eadgar.

Move west to the Troll Stronghold and run south and climb down the stairs. Talk to Burntmeat he'll say he has a quest for you to get a tasty human.

The Parrot

Go back to Eadgar and he'll tell you that he needs a parrot. Now you need to go to Ardougne to get a parrot. Go to Ardougne Zoo and talk to Parroty Pete (located near the Wolfs) (map). Ask what they eat and when they are added. If you don't have Pineapple Chucks and Vodka go to Gnome Stronghold and buy Vodka (5gp) and a Pineapple (1gp). Dice the Pineapple and use the Chunks on the Vodka. Use the Alco-chunks on the Avairy Hatch.

The Fake Human

Bring the parrot to Eadgar. He'll tell you his plan. You'll need 10 Grains, 2 normal logs, 5 raw chickens and Dirty Cloths. Go back to Sanfew to get Dirty Cloths. He'll tell you Tegid is doing the laundry. Go to Tegid (map) south-east of Sanfew and tell him Sanfew won't be happy if you don't get he'll give you the Dirty Robes then. Go to the Troll Stronghold move west and go down and go trough the door and go down again then move south west to the rack and use the parrot on it. Go back to Eadgar and if you got all the items you'll give it to him.

The Troll Truth Potion

Now you need to make a Troll Truth Potion. Go out of the cave and search for Troll Thistle just west. Pick it up and make a fire and dry it. Use pestle and mortar on Dried Thistle. Now use Ranarr Weed on water vial and then use the Ground Thistle on it. You made a Troll Truth Potion!

Finishing the Quest

Go get the parrot back from the rack (in the Troll Stronghold go east and go down twice). Search the rack. Go back to Eadgar and talk to him. He'll give you a fake man. Now it's time to finish this quest! Go to Burntmeat (in the Troll Stronghold go west and go down) and talk to him. You'll give him the fake human. Ask him where you can find a 'goutweed'. He'll tell you how to get it.

Search the Kitchen Drawers you'll find a Storeroom key. Go down and open the Storeroom Door and avoid the guards and move to the south west of the storage.

Tip: Their are some inlets where the troll guards don't come that so you'll get time to find a good path.

When you got the goutweed go to Sanfew. Talk to Sanfew.
