Monsters
Crandor Island contains some of the most useful monsters for training combat in the game, and their wide variety of levels mean that adventurers of all abilities will be able to find a suitable opponent.
1. Skeletons these are the lowest levelled monsters on the island, and such they don’t get much attention. They can however be useful when training on higher levelled beasts, as you can attack them whilst letting your HP re-generate, and those completing a slayer assignment (members only), will find this a perfect place to complete their task in peace.

They can be safely attacked using range or mage if you use the height of the land to your advantage.

2. King Scorpions these low leveled creatures drop nothing whe defeated, and such they are not very good to train on.

3. Hobgoblins Sometimes referred to as “hobo-goblins” due to their appearance, these smelly creatures are great training for low levelled member Herblorists, and free players wishing to gain an advantage in combat. This is due to the fact that they have an extremely high drop rate of Limpwurt Root. These may be used along with red spiders eggs (which also respawn under Karamja volcano) to make strength potions, with a herblore level of 12. Whilst free players may take Limpwurt Root, red spiders eggs and 5gp to the apocathy in Varrock to receive a strength potion.

As with the skelatons, they can be easily maged or ranged safely if you trap them under or above you.

4. Moss Giants These foes may be large, but their low defence means that they are great training for low-medium levelled players. They are weak too fire spells and have a 100% drop rate of big bones, which are useful for training prayer as they are the best bones in free to play as they give the highest amount of XP out of all the bones in the free world. Other notable drops include coins, and for members seeds and even the dragon spear!

You may use the rocks nearby as safespots when ranging or maging the giants.

5. Lesser Demons These dangerous creatures are the main reason that most people venture to Crandor. They have a very low defence, are weak to magic attacks, and are great training for higher levelled members and free players. They also have some excellent drops, including the Rune Med helm, which alchs for around 11,000gp, meaning that the drops received may cover the costs of food, runes and arrows used whilst training.

They may be meleed or Maged and ranged safely from various locations.

Any drops received from monster on the Island may be banked by members in the nearby Tzhaar city, under Karamja Volcano, whilst free players may wish to either teleport to Falador, or sell their items to the general store on Karamja Island.
Mining Spots
Whilst Crandor may be far from a bank, its wide variety of rare minerals means that it is a good mining spot. On the island can be found coal, Mithril and even Adamant rocks, scattered across the landscape.
The closest bank for members, is in Tzhaar city, whilst free players may want to teleport to Falador, bank, and take the boat back.
6. Northern Mine This mining spot contains 8 coal rocks, along with a single mithril rock. King Scorpions and Hobgoblins also patrol the area.

7. Western Mine This mine contains 7 mithril rocks, with a few skelatons scattered around it. This mine can only be accessed from the south.

8. Eastern Mine There are 3 gold rocks in this mine, and it can only be accessed from the north.

9. Southern Mine This mine contains 3 Coal and 3 Adamantite rocks. Lower levels should be careful however, as the mine is guarded by level 42 Moss Giants.

Other Features
10. Volcano entrance

This is the entrance, and exit to the Island, and leads to Karamja Volcano. In here you can find skeletons, lesser demons, and the mighty Elvarg, whom you must fight during the Dragon Slayer Quest. Following the passage will eventually take you to Karamja.
11. Boat

This is the boat the you arrived on during the Dragon Slayer Quest. It is heavily damaged, and cannot be used to sail back to the mainland. There are several plank spawns near the boat.
